The curricula of programmes have been designed to cater to the ever-changing needs and
demands of IT industry. The focus is on holistic learning and empowering students to make
significant contributions at all levels. The cafeteria system of electives gives a handful
of choices for the students to develop expertise in their area of interest.
Efforts will be that BTech Computer Science and Engineering (Cybersecurity) be accredited
by the Computing Accreditation Commission and Engineering Accreditation Commission of
ABET (http://www.abet.org) and accreditation process will start due course once we have
the final approval from the HEC.
The BTech. Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Cybersecurity
programme aims to offer the students an opportunity to expand their skills in computer
science and Cybersecurity by offering various programming courses based on industry
requirements, and core courses like data structures, database systems, computer
architecture, operating systems, computer networks, programming in cybersecurity,
cryptography and network security. In addition, specializations courses in Cybersecurity
such as malware analysis, digital forensics, AI in cybersecurity, cybercrime and incident
response, system security, blockchain, cyber threat intelligence are also offered to
meet the market demands.
