The curricula of programmes have been designed to cater to the ever-changing needs and

significant contributions at all levels. The cafeteria system of electives gives a handful
of choices for the students to develop expertise in their area of interest.
Efforts will be that BTech Computer Science and Engineering is accredited by the Computing
Accreditation Commission and Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
(http://www.abet.org) and accreditation process will start due course once we have the
final approval from the HEC.
Computer software engineers apply the principles of computer science and mathematical
analysis to the design, development, testing and evaluation of the software systems.
The tasks performed by the engineers of this discipline evolve quickly, reflecting on
new areas of specialisation or changes in technology, according to the preferences
and practices of the employers.
