- Research papers published in International/National Journals will be an added advantage.
- Books published and Scholars awarded.
- Applicants with patents registered/consultancy works carried out will be given preference.
- Exposure in handling high-value funded projects will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
1. Teaching & Curriculum Development:
- Classroom presentation and laboratory instructions.
- Development of learning resource materials & laboratory development
- Student assessment & evaluation (examination) work of the university.
- Participation in co-curricular & extracurricular activities.
- Student guidance, counseling & helping in their personal, ethical, moral, and overall character development.
- Keeping abreast of new knowledge and skills, contributing to knowledge generation, and dissemination through books, publications, seminars, and handouts.
- Continuing education activities and self-development through upgrading qualifications, experience & professional activities.
2. Research & Scholarly Activity:
- Research development activities & research guidance.
- Industry-sponsored projects.
3. Administrative & University Engagement:
- Academic and Administrative management of the institution.
- Policy planning, monitoring & evaluation, and promotional activities at both department and institution levels.
- Design and development of new programs.
- Preparing projects for funding in areas of Research & Development, laboratory development, modernization, and expansion.
- Providing Research & Development support and consultancy services to Industry and other user agencies.
- Providing Technical support in areas of social relevance.
- Apart from the above duties, any other relevant work assigned by the Dean of the respective College.

- Assistant Professor position: Minimum of 2 years of teaching at the universities.
- Associate Professor position: Minimum of 12 years and above of academic or research experience at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent.
- Professor Position: Minimum of 20 years and above of academic or research experience at Professor level at Universities.
